Wishing You A Pawsome Day

Hi everyone! Today I'm playing with the super cute Lawn Fawn Meow You Doin Stamp Set! I love this set because I can use the sentiments for kitty stamps  and doggy stamps.

I also used
Lawn Fawn Happy Die

Sliding right into Spring.

Hi friends, Katie here.   I have a fun card to share with you today that goes along perfectly with our current challenge.  Its interactive- yay!  Check it out:

You can't see the slider element in this photo, but watch these cuties as the roll down the hill to visit Mama!

Isn't that just the sweetest thing?!  I think so.

For this I used MFT Stamps, Copics, Doodlebug Designs Spring paper and multiple Lawn Fawn dies.  Among them is the super fun Slide on Over die.  This die make slider cards a cinch!

Just a reminder of the current challenge photo:

Thanks for visiting!

It seems you found our March Challenge #10 to be rather challenging but rise to it, you did. We had such fabulous entries it was so hard to choose!

The winner is #1 Erin T.  Erin, using the geometrics of the coverplate die was a stroke of genius and you totally won us over with your clever sentiment. Congrats!

The honorable mentions wowed us too. Congratulations in order of entry to #9 Bev and #22 Michele K. Henderson!  Everyone, please grab a badge from the top tab if you like.

We hope you all join in the fun and inspire us again! There's still plenty of time to join in our current Challenge #11 which runs through April 30. Hope to see you there!

The Heart Desires Challenge 11

'Tis Spring! Somewhere, anyway. :)  It's still a bit drab here in the Pacific Northwest so we're brightening things up with our inspiration board this round. It's chock full of glorious spring flowers, a fluffy puffy lamb and a fun chalkboard sentiment. Maybe you're inspired by the colors or patterns? Whatever inspires you is a-okay! Come play along!

When you post your entries, feel free to tag us on social media!

Bicycle for Me and My Cat

Toni here with a really simple (I swear) slider card.

First, I stamped and masked the Lawn Fawn Bicycle Built for You girl and her bicycle. I used the Scan n Cut to cut it out as a unit after I colored it up. I used Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper for her dress, the leaves on the tree from the Leafy Tree Backdrop die and the hill. I LOVE plaid!  I cut the Simple Road Border die (top layer only) then diecut it again with the coordinating Slide on Over die to create the channel. See this post for a pic of another card using these sets in a similar manner. I decided to work up a little sunset/sunrise background using Distress Inks splattered with a bit of water. Now the fun part!

I glued down the plaid hill and tree. Then I glued down the slider road channel interior to the base of the card using the Simple Road diecut as a template. I added a thin strip of foam tape to both edges of the road before inserting the sliding mechanism and adhering it down. Oh! Don't forget to stamp that sentiment before you add the road! Trust me. I used a combo of sentiments from Lawn Fawn Bicycle Built for You and Jump for Joy to create mine. Finally I glued down the leaves and added the cat (as an afterthought).  I hope you'll give this type of card a try!

The Details:  Lawn Fawn Bicycle Built for You, Jump for Joy, Leafy Tree Backdrop die, Simple Road Border die, Slide on Over die, and Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper, Distress Ink Tumbled Glass, Mustard Seed and Spun Sugar, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics, Versamark, Stampendous Detail Fine White Embossing Powder
